We at the Academy are aware of pending legislation governing the Private Security Industry, in the licensing of Security Companies and Security Personnel. Part of this legislation states that all Security Staff will undergo a recognised security training course. To this end we have set up a Training Academy to deliver specific levels of training for our own staff, other security companies and for organisations that have directly employed security personnel.

Payment must be made in full prior to the course with confirmation of booking in writing at least two weeks prior to commencement.

Highland Security Training Academy is a Skills for Security Approved Training Centre.
All training is carried out by our own Skills for Security Approved Trainers in our Inverness Training Facility, which will also provide a full service for the Highlands and Islands.
The Academy is specifically devised to ensure we deliver consistent high quality levels of service, which not only meets, but exceeds the requirements and expectations of the customer as a whole.
Skills for Security Basic Job Training courses will be available for Door Supervision, Static and Mobile Patrol Guarding, Retail Security, Education Establishment Security and Health Establishment Security. These programmes will all be run in conjunction with the Skills for Security Conflict Management course.
Booking Enquiries:
Prospective Delegates, or the Delegates nominating manager may telephone (01463) 238 474 or email enq@acegroupscotland.co.uk, to check availability of places on any courses.
Provisional Bookings:
Provisional bookings may be made by telephone or email, but will expire if not confirmed within 5 working days.
Booking Confirmations:
Verbal communication of a place on a course may be given immediately, but will be supported in writing within 10 working days of receiving a completed booking form.
Joining instructions will be sent out to confirmed candidates approximately 2 weeks before the commencement of a course. Payment will be expected on confirmation.
Cancellations:
The Highland Security Training Academy reserves the right to postpone, cancel or alter the dates of provision of a course and/or venue of the course.
In the event of cancellation by the delegate, the delegates manager or representative of the delegates organisation; bookings will normally be transferred to the next available course date, unless the client specifically requests otherwise.
In the event of an outright cancellation, the following fees will be payable:
20 working days or more – 10% of course fee.
19 to 11 Working Days – 50% of course fee.
Less than 11working days – Full course fee.
Telephone cancellations may be accepted, but must be confirmed in writing. |
